The PRIDE Library is a Queer led community organisation based in Manchester. We opened our office at Bridge 5 Mill and began lending books in January 2024. We also run workshops and other community services such as book groups, fitness and self defence classes, and educational programmes.

So far we have operated with only volunteer labour and donations from individuals and other organisations. We’ve received no other funding and none of us are paid, we work only to serve our communities.

If you’d like to borrow some books or just check out our library, email desk@thepridelibrary.org to make an appointment, or drop in during our open hours. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, but you’re welcome to bring your child with you.
