As we approach the anniversary of the founding of the New People’s Army on March 29th, let’s gather at the Working Class Movement Library and watch The Guerrilla is a Poet, a documentary-biopic about the National Democratic Revolution in the Philippines.

As this screening lands on International Women’s Day, we will also distribute copies of Women and Revolution by Juliet de Lima, originally a lecture which was reprinted in celebration of the 27th International Women’s Day, and discuss this text together after the film.
